At Cambridge Park Academy, we aim to ensure that our students have the opportunity to explore a range of career options and are ready for their next steps towards the world of work.
Our vision is to provide the support required for each learner’s personalised pathway into post 16. We support our learners to obtain experience, awareness and skills that will be an aspiration towards their development. Along with the support from external agencies and community links, each learner has the opportunity to gain confidence and encourages them to thrive within the journey to their preferred destination.

Parents and Carers:
Parental involvement is encouraged with our careers programme. Online resources are accessed through the links on the school website. Parents are kept up to date with careers work through letters, newsletters and parents’ evening, that include representatives from post 16 education providers and other professionals linked with career development. Parents/Carers are contacted by independent careers advisors from the North East Lincolnshire Careers service following student interviews during years 9, 10 and 11 and are asked to contribute to Education and Health Care Plans including consideration for pathways for students.
